Pre-care Advice
Arrive with clean, product-free nails where possible. Let your technician know about any allergies, recent nail damage or medical conditions affecting your nails or skin, and avoid cutting your cuticles at home before your appointment.
After-care Advice
Apply cuticle oil daily to keep nails and skin nourished. Wear gloves for cleaning and gardening, and avoid using your nails as tools. Book a professional soak-off or infill rather than picking or peeling gel and extensions, which can damage the natural nail.
Downtime & Recovery
None — you can return to your day immediately. We simply allow gel and shellac a moment to cure fully under the lamp before your appointment ends.

Certain nail or skin infections, allergies to nail products, or recent injury to the nail area may mean a treatment needs to be adapted or postponed. Your technician will carry out a consultation and advise accordingly.
Side Effects & Risks
Nail treatments are very low risk. Occasionally there may be minor sensitivity around the cuticle or a reaction to a product; patch testing is available on request for gel and adhesive products.
