Waxing
Who It's For
Anyone wanting smooth, hair-free skin that lasts far longer than shaving. Suitable for the face and body, with gentle techniques and premium waxes for comfort, including for sensitive skin.
Expected Results
Smooth, hair-free skin that typically lasts three to six weeks. With regular waxing, regrowth becomes finer and sparser over time.
Pre-care Advice
Let hair grow to at least a quarter-inch (about two to three weeks of growth). Exfoliate gently a day or two before, avoid moisturiser on the day, and tell your therapist about any medications (such as retinoids) or skin sensitivities.
After-care Advice
Avoid heat (hot baths, saunas, sunbeds), swimming, exercise and tight clothing for 24 hours. Exfoliate gently from a few days later and moisturise regularly to help prevent ingrown hairs.
Downtime & Recovery
None — you can carry on with your day, though we recommend avoiding heat and friction for 24 hours.
Contraindications
Please Read Carefully Before Booking This Treatment.
Waxing is not suitable over broken or irritated skin, sunburn, or where you are using certain skin treatments or medications such as Roaccutane or strong retinoids. Your therapist will advise at consultation.
Side Effects & Risks
Temporary redness and mild sensitivity are normal and usually settle within a few hours. Occasionally small spots or ingrown hairs can appear; regular exfoliation helps.
