Pre-care and after-care
Pre-care advice
Hair should be at least 0.5cm long for effective wax adhesion. Exfoliate the area gently 24 hours before. Avoid sun exposure on the area to be waxed immediately before your appointment.
After-care advice
Avoid heat treatments (sauna, hot baths, sunbathing) for 24 to 48 hours. Exfoliate gently from 48 hours post-treatment to prevent ingrown hairs. Moisturise the area daily.

Contraindications
Active skin infections or rashes on the area to be waxed. Use of prescription retinoids or recent chemical peels on the area. Recent sunburn. Certain medications that thin the skin.
Side effects and risks
Temporary redness, minor irritation or sensitivity. Rarely, minor skin lifting on very sensitive skin. Ingrown hairs can occur without regular exfoliation.
