Pre-care and after-care
Pre-care advice
- Arrive with clean skin if possible.
- Avoid strong exfoliating actives for 2–3 days beforehand.
- Let Michelle know your skin concerns, allergies and any products you use.
After-care advice
- Keep skin hydrated and wear SPF daily.
- Avoid harsh actives and heat treatments (sauna, hot yoga) for 24 hours to let skin settle.
No real downtime — skin may be slightly pink for an hour or two. It is best to avoid makeup for the rest of the day and apply SPF.

Side effects and risks
Temporary redness or warmth may occur and usually settles within hours. Reactions are uncommon when products are matched to your skin, and a patch test can be done for sensitive skin.

Yes. Because all products are individually prescribed following a skin consultation, Tropic products are selected specifically for your skin type including sensitive skin. Please let Michelle know about any known allergies or sensitivities when booking.

Yes. A deeply relaxing head, arm, hand and shoulder massage using a scented essential oil is included as part of every 60-minute facial treatment.
