I am the CEO and creator of the Hair and beauty directory

I’m also the owner of Sirens hair and beauty and training school.
I have been working in the industry since 1996 and I’m multi qualified in many areas.
I specialise in skincare, lashes, therapies and salon policies.

I’m passionate about the industry and raising standards and encouraging a positive industry. I attend conferences and events around the world to stay updated and aware of the changes that are happening and gaining knowledge from the incredible people we have in this industry

I complete a number of courses each year for my own knowledge and to keep my own salon at the forefront of standards. I have a comprehensive list of qualifications, which includes
Levels 2 & 3 in beauty therapy
Foundation degree in complementary therapies
Level 6 open university in nutrition, perspectives in complementary therapies and biology
Certificate in education
Level 4 skin specialist
Highest level in DMK
Over a dozen accreditations with the worlds leading lash specialist

My awards include professional beauty educator of the year and BABTAC lash specialist.

As well as running beauty courses, I also educate people on raising standards and awareness in the industry. I’m currently one of the experts piloting a new council lead scheme for licensing and take every opportunity I can to raise standards.

I’m also passionate about raising how people see their worth and that of the industry. We are an industry that brings billions to the economy and provide many jobs and we need to see that value.
