WorldSkills UK Beauty Therapist National Final 2026

WorldSkills UK Beauty Therapist National Final 2026 is the UK's top skills competition for young beauty therapists. It takes place at Cardiff and Vale College in Cardiff, Wales, as part of the WorldSkills UK National Finals, where learners from colleges and training providers across the country compete in front of industry judges.

To reach the final, beauty therapy learners work towards a Level 2 qualification and pass a remote entry stage, then a face to face national qualifier. Five qualifier dates are held across the UK in May and June. The best performers go through to Cardiff for the final, where they complete timed practical tasks to a professional standard.

Judges look at seven key skills: professional demeanour, safe working practices, professional attitude, effective client interaction, high skill and dexterity, time management and ergonomic working. These are the same habits that employers look for when they hire a new beauty therapist.
