The International Beauty Industry Awards is an inclusive online hair and makeup competition founded in 2018, with its launch celebrated in Times Square, New York. The programme features nearly 50 categories spanning avant-garde to everyday looks, including Best Glam, Best Bridal, Best Special Effects, Best Natural Hair, and Best Avant-Garde/Hair Art. Open to beauty artisans, salons, studios, and students from 50+ countries.
Judging is completely blind — members of the Independent Judging Council see no identifying information. Entries are evaluated on Visual Success, Technical Execution, Creativity & Concept, and Overall Impression. There is no popularity voting, sponsorship requirement, or brand mandate. Winners receive a hand-crafted, personalised statuette designed by the same New York creators who make Emmy and MTV awards.
