About Good Spa Guide Awards 2026
Now in its 17th year, the Good Spa Guide Awards is the UK's leading spa awards programme. 2026 marks a major format overhaul combining public voting with expert judging by nine industry leaders at Sopwell House.
The Good Spa Guide Awards is an annual UK-based spa awards programme now in its 17th year, widely recognised as one of the most credible indicators of spa excellence in the United Kingdom. For 2026, the awards have undergone a significant evolution: previously separate consumer-voted and regional awards have been merged into one flagship ceremony combining public voting with professional expert judging.
The 2026 judging panel comprises nine prominent industry leaders including Sue Harmsworth MBE, Noella Gabriel (Elemis co-founder and CEO), Caroline Hirons (Skin Rocks founder), and Amanda Afiya (former Caterer editor). Categories include Best Hotel Spa, Best Day Spa, Best Resort Spa, Best Spa for Cancer Touch, Best Spa for Wellness, Best Spa for Sustainability, and Best Spa Team.
The awards ceremony takes place on 16 November 2026 at Sopwell House in St Albans, Hertfordshire. The Good Spa Guide is known for its rigorous Spa Spies methodology, where professional journalists conduct detailed 20-page assessment audits of spas across the UK, ensuring the most thorough evaluation process in the industry.
