Key takeaways
- Most major shows have confirmed 2027 dates, from Be+Well New York in March to Beautyworld Middle East in October.
- IBS New York and IBS Las Vegas now run as Be+Well, and Beautyworld Middle East moves to Expo City Dubai.
- Pick each show for education, buying or inspiration, set a budget, and keep receipts for your accountant.
Quick answer: The beauty and hair trade shows most worth planning around in 2027 are Be+Well New York (7 to 9 March), Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna (18 to 21 March), America's Beauty Show near Chicago (3 to 5 April), Premiere Orlando (5 to 7 June), Be+Well Las Vegas (12 to 14 June), Beauty Expo Australia in Sydney (7 to 8 August), Professional Beauty London (10 to 11 October) and Beautyworld Middle East in Dubai (19 to 21 October). Cosmoprof Asia in Hong Kong and Salon International in London had not confirmed 2027 dates at the time of writing, but they usually run in November and October.
Walk into a big trade show and the first thing you notice is the noise. Music from the main stage, the hum of a thousand conversations, a queue already forming at the stand everyone has been talking about online. It can feel like a lot. It is also one of the few places where you can try a new product, sit in a class with an educator you admire and compare prices from ten suppliers, all before lunch.
The calendar keeps growing, and nobody has the time or budget to go to everything. So we have pulled together the shows worth your time in 2027, region by region, with dates checked on the organisers' own websites in October 2026. Where a 2027 date has not been announced, we tell you when the show usually runs so you can plan ahead.
Dates can change and venues do move, so always confirm on the official site before you book travel.
How to choose the right show for you
Before you look at a single date, decide what you want the show to do for your business. Most professionals go for one of three reasons:
- Education: classes, demonstrations and business talks that would cost far more to book one by one.
- Buying: show offers, new launches and the chance to handle products before you commit.
- Inspiration: competitions, stage work and a clear view of where the industry is heading.
Large international fairs such as Bologna and Hong Kong lean towards brands, distributors and buyers. Shows such as Premiere Orlando, Professional Beauty London and America's Beauty Show are built around working stylists, therapists and technicians, with education at the centre. Choose the format that matches your goal and the trip pays for itself far more easily.
UK and Ireland
Professional Beauty Spring, London. Professional Beauty's spring show takes place at Olympia London on 28 February and 1 March 2027 (Professional Beauty). It is a useful early year date for buying and seeing new launches.
Professional Beauty and Hair Ireland, Dublin. The show runs on 11 and 12 April 2027 at the RDS in Ballsbridge (official show page). It brings beauty and hair together under one roof and is the main trade date for professionals across Ireland.
Professional Beauty London. The UK's biggest beauty trade show returns to ExCeL London on 10 and 11 October 2027. In 2026 it welcomed 22,378 visitors, and Salon International, the hairdressing show that runs alongside it, drew 34,173 (2026 show highlights). Expect brand launches, education stages, live demonstrations and the Nailympia nail competition.
Salon International, London. Run by Hairdressers Journal International, this is the UK's major hairdressing show. It usually takes place in October at ExCeL alongside Professional Beauty London, and at the time of writing the organisers were inviting visitors to save the date for 2027 without publishing exact days (Salon International). Check their site before you book.
Europe
Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna, Italy. The 58th edition runs from 18 to 21 March 2027 in the Bologna exhibition district. This is one of the largest beauty fairs anywhere: the 2026 edition brought together 3,104 exhibitors from 68 countries and more than 255,000 trade attendees (Cosmoprof). At that scale, plan which halls you need before you arrive and wear comfortable shoes.
BEAUTY Düsseldorf, Germany. A long running trade fair for beauty, nail and spa professionals. The 2026 edition took place in March, and trade fair calendars list 9 to 11 April 2027 (trade fair listing). Confirm with the organiser before you book.
North America
One big change to know about: IBS and IECSC, the International Beauty Show and the esthetics and spa conference that ran with it, now share a new name, Be+Well, in both New York and Las Vegas.
- Be+Well New York: 7 to 9 March 2027 at the Javits Center (Be+Well New York).
- America's Beauty Show: 3 to 5 April 2027 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, near Chicago. The 2026 show reported a record 21,000+ attendees (Modern Salon).
- Premiere Orlando: 5 to 7 June 2027 at the Orange County Convention Center, with an education only Saturday and the exhibit floor open on Sunday and Monday (Premiere Orlando). The 2026 show recorded more than 54,500 visits and 939 classes, workshops and stage sessions, and nearly half of attendees came on the education day (Modern Salon).
- Be+Well Las Vegas: 12 to 14 June 2027 at the Las Vegas Convention Center (Be+Well Las Vegas).
- Cosmoprof North America Las Vegas: 13 to 15 July 2027 at Mandalay Bay Convention Center (Cosmoprof North America). This one is focused on brands, buyers and distributors, so it suits salon owners looking for new product lines.
Middle East
Beautyworld Middle East, Dubai. The 2027 show runs from 19 to 21 October at a new home, the Dubai Exhibition Centre in Expo City Dubai (Messe Frankfurt). Its 30th edition in 2026 hosted 1,300 exhibitors from 56 countries and 62,130 visitors (Premium Beauty News). It is especially strong for fragrance and is a meeting point for distributors from across the region and well beyond.
Asia Pacific
Cosmoprof Asia, Hong Kong. The 2026 edition runs from 11 to 13 November at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, with its packaging and supply sister show, Cosmopack Asia, at AsiaWorld Expo from 10 to 12 November. Organisers expect more than 2,900 exhibitors and 78,000 visitors (Cosmoprof Asia). Dates for 2027 had not been published at the time of writing, so expect November and check closer to the time.
Australia
Beauty Expo Australia, Sydney. Set for 7 and 8 August 2027 at ICC Sydney in Darling Harbour (Beauty Expo Australia). Parts of the official site still show 2026 details, so confirm the dates with the organisers before you travel.
Hair Festival, Sydney. Hair professionals can head to ICC Sydney on 27 and 28 June 2027. The 2026 event drew 7,350 attendees and more than 110 exhibitors (Styleicons).
Specialist events for nails, lashes and aesthetics
Nailympia London. Billed as the world's biggest nail competition, Nailympia runs inside Professional Beauty London (Nailympia). In 2026 entries were split into Novice, Apprentice, Master and Champion divisions, with categories from gel and acrylic to stiletto and fantasy nails, judged by an international panel (Professional Beauty). Entries close weeks before the show, so if you want to compete in 2027, watch for the entry window in late summer.
Lash, brow and nail stages. Many of the large shows above run dedicated lash, brow and nail areas, demonstrations and competitions within the main event. Check each programme for your specialism rather than assuming you need a separate trip.
AMWC. The Aesthetic and Anti Aging Medicine World Congress is a series of medical aesthetics congresses run by EuroMediCom. The main 2027 congress takes place in Cannes, France, from 1 to 3 April. Other 2027 editions include AMWC Americas in Miami (13 to 15 February), AMWC Asia in Taipei (30 April to 2 May), AMWC Korea in Seoul (4 to 5 June) and AMWC EMEA in Istanbul (21 to 23 October) (EuroMediCom). These events are built for medical practitioners working in aesthetic medicine, so check the registration criteria before you book.
How to get the most from a show
Plan before you go
Download the floor plan or show app as soon as it is released. List the brands you want to see, the classes you want to attend and the questions you need answered. Popular classes fill up fast, and many trade shows offer free or lower cost tickets to professionals who register in advance.
Set a budget
Add up tickets, travel, hotel, food and the bookings you will miss while you are away. Then set a spending limit for show offers before you arrive. It is far easier to stick to a number you chose at home than one you choose in front of a beautifully lit stand.
Make the education count
Take notes in each class and pick one thing you will change in your business the following week. If you have a team, share what you learned at your next meeting so everyone benefits from the trip.
Buy with a plan
Compare prices across stands, ask about training and ongoing support, and check minimum order levels. If you are adding a new treatment, make sure your qualifications and insurance cover it before you take bookings.
Keep your receipts
In many countries, the costs of attending a trade show for your business, such as tickets, travel, accommodation and training, can count as allowable business expenses. Rules differ from country to country, so check with an accountant or your tax authority. Our guide to what self employed beauty therapists can claim is a good place to start.
