Pre-care advice
Book a consultation and colour match in advance. Arrive with clean, dry, product-free hair, and discuss your lifestyle and hair history so the right method is chosen. A patch test is carried out where required.
After-care advice
Use recommended sulphate-free products and a suitable brush, avoid excessive heat and tension, tie hair loosely for sleep and exercise, and attend maintenance/refit appointments as advised to protect your hair and extensions.

Safety, risks and contraindications
Contraindications
Not suitable on very fragile, damaged or shedding hair, or on an irritated or infected scalp. Certain scalp conditions and hair-loss concerns are assessed at consultation, and alternatives suggested where extensions are not appropriate.
Side effects and risks
Some initial awareness or tightness at the attachment points is normal and settles quickly. Poor aftercare can cause tension or matting, which is why the maintenance plan and product advice are important.
