Pre-care and after-care
Pre-care advice
Book a skin analysis first. Avoid sun, self-tan and strong actives (retinoids and acids) for a few days before advanced facials or peels, and tell us about any medication, skin conditions or recent treatments.
After-care advice
Keep skin hydrated and wear SPF daily. After advanced facials, peels or micro-needling, avoid heat, makeup, active ingredients and sun for 24 to 48 hours, and follow the personalised aftercare given.
Most facials have no downtime. Peels, micro-needling and plasma may leave the skin red, tight or flaky for a few days.
Safety, risks and contraindications
Contraindications
Some advanced treatments are not suitable during pregnancy, with active skin infections, recent sun exposure or certain medications (for example Roaccutane). Suitability is confirmed at your skin analysis.
Side effects and risks
Temporary redness, warmth or sensitivity. Peels and micro-needling can cause flaking or a short breakout as the skin renews.
