Who it's for
Ideal for anyone wanting a natural lift, improved facial tone, firmness and radiance without injectables — including clients concerned with early signs of ageing or loss of definition. Suitability is confirmed at consultation.
Expected results
A firmer, lifted, more sculpted and radiant appearance, with improved tone and glow. Results are cumulative, developing over a recommended course and maintained with periodic top-ups.
Pre-care and after-care
Pre-care advice
Arrive with clean skin where possible and stay hydrated. Avoid strong actives for a couple of days beforehand, and let Rachel know of any medical devices, conditions or metal implants at consultation, as microcurrent is not suitable in some cases.
After-care advice
Stay hydrated, follow the prescribed home care and SPF, and attend your course appointments for best results. There are no special restrictions after treatment.
No downtime — skin looks refreshed immediately and you can return to normal activities straight away.
Safety, risks and contraindications
Contraindications
Not suitable during pregnancy, for those with a pacemaker or other electrical implants, epilepsy, or certain heart conditions, or over active infections or broken skin. All contraindications are assessed at consultation.
Side effects and risks
Microcurrent is comfortable and low risk. Occasionally mild temporary redness or a metallic taste during treatment can occur; all is discussed at consultation.
