Avoid strong active ingredients such as retinoids and acids, and sun exposure, for a few days before your facial. Arrive with clean skin where possible and mention any medication or skin conditions.
After-care advice

Most facials have little to no downtime. Advanced treatments may leave the skin pink or flaky for a day or two.
