Expected results
Smoother, plumper, more radiant and better-hydrated skin. Results build over a recommended course of treatments and are then maintained with periodic top-ups.
Pre-care and after-care
Pre-care advice
Avoid alcohol for 24 hours and, where medically appropriate, blood-thinning medicines and supplements to reduce bruising. Avoid active skincare (retinoids, acids) and other facial treatments for a few days beforehand.
After-care advice
Avoid makeup, active skincare, heat, saunas, swimming and strenuous exercise for 24 hours. Keep skin clean and hydrated, apply SPF daily, and follow the aftercare and course plan provided by your practitioner.
Minimal downtime — small injection marks or mild redness may be visible for a day or so; most clients return to normal activities the same day.
Safety, risks and contraindications
Contraindications
Not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, on active skin infection or inflammation at the site, or with a known allergy to the ingredients. Certain medical conditions and medications are assessed at consultation.
Side effects and risks
Temporary redness, small injection-point bumps, mild swelling or bruising can occur and settle within a few days. All risks are discussed at consultation.
