Pre-care and after-care
Pre-care advice
Avoid alcohol for 24 hours before, and where medically appropriate avoid blood-thinning medicines and supplements to reduce bruising. Arrive with clean skin and share your full medical history at consultation.
After-care advice
Stay upright for 4 hours and avoid rubbing the treated area. Avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol, saunas and facials for 24 hours, and follow the full aftercare provided by your practitioner.
Minimal downtime — most clients return to normal activities immediately, following simple aftercare for the first 24 hours.

Contraindications
Not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or for those with certain neuromuscular conditions, active skin infection at the site, or a known allergy to botulinum toxin. Full medical history is reviewed at consultation.
Side effects and risks
Temporary redness, small bumps or minor bruising at injection sites can occur and settle quickly. Less commonly, mild headache or temporary asymmetry may occur; all risks are discussed at consultation.
