I started my career in Hair and Beauty when leaving sixth form aged 18 and am still passionate about the industry 42 years later. I worked in a beauty salon gaining experience in between having my family until 1990 when I realised my passion for passing on knowledge, enrolling in a teaching course and becoming a lecturer continuing to achieve a teaching degree, Assessor and IQA qualifications.

I was an eyeliner model at the Whitstable Beauty School who have partnered with Sophie Dodds for semi permanent makeup and it was such a lovely experience. The trainee who completed my eyeliner made me feel really comfortable and she did an amazing job on my eyes! Sophie was also right there the whole time guiding her and making sure she was comfortable and confident. Would 100% recommend!

Today i had three different treatments, my students, Holly, Mel, Hannah and Mea were fantastic, professional, confident. During each procedure i felt relaxed and looked after. Treatment as a model is free. Well worth visiting for a couple of hours of pampering, helping students with their training.

I come here quite often. The treatments are top class and amazing for the price. I have never had a student that has made me feel uncomfortable always very welcoming and lovely. X

WBS really is the best training I’ve received. The standard of teaching is exceptional the knowledge ,skill and wealth of experience Donna and Charlotte have between them shows in the delivery of their teaching.The lessons are really interesting engaging which enables you to develop your skill, in which ever course you choose to do. I have found the lessons are designed to give you not only the qualification but the confidence and knowledge to manage your clients and business! I really can’t thank them enough!! 🤩
