Hydrotherapy
Hydrotherapy, also called aquatic therapy, is a complementary treatment that uses warm water to support gentle movement, muscle relaxation and general wellbeing. Sessions usually take place in a specially heated pool, kept at around 33 to 35 degrees, where the warmth and buoyancy of the water reduce the load on joints and make movement feel easier and more comfortable. Many people find it soothing for stiffness, tension and everyday aches, and it is often enjoyed as part of a broader relaxation or self-care routine. It is important to be clear about what hydrotherapy is and is not.
