Advanced Electrolysis
Advanced electrolysis, sometimes called advanced cosmetic procedures or short-wave diathermy, is a treatment used to reduce or remove minor skin blemishes. A very fine, sterile probe delivers a tiny, controlled amount of heat energy to the blemish, which either lifts it away or dries up the small blood vessels feeding it. It is commonly used for skin tags, milia (small keratin bumps), thread veins (telangiectasia), blood spots (Campbell de Morgan spots), spider naevi and some other superficial blemishes.
