TMJ Therapy
TMJ therapy is a group of treatments aimed at the temporomandibular joint and the muscles around the jaw, where problems can cause jaw pain, clicking, clenching, teeth grinding (bruxism), facial tension and headaches. In UK clinic and aesthetics settings it usually takes one of two forms. The first is hands-on manual or massage therapy, which may include external work on the masseter, temporalis and neck muscles and, with some practitioners, gloved intra-oral release inside the mouth.
