Skin Tag Removal
Skin tags are small, soft, harmless growths that hang from the skin, most often appearing where skin rubs together such as the neck, underarms, eyelids and groin. They are very common and usually cause no problems, but many people choose to have them removed for comfort or cosmetic reasons, or because they catch on clothing and jewellery. In a clinical or aesthetic setting they are typically removed by freezing (cryotherapy), heat (electrocautery or radiofrequency), tying off the base (ligation) or a small snip with sterile surgical scissors, sometimes under local anaesthetic.
