Thai Massage
Thai massage is a clothed, floor-based bodywork therapy with roots in traditional Thai medicine. Rather than the oil-based, kneading style of a Swedish or aromatherapy massage, it combines rhythmic acupressure, gentle rocking and assisted, yoga-like stretches, often described as "lazy yoga" because the therapist moves and positions your body for you. You usually lie on a padded mat on the floor and wear loose, comfortable clothing, and the therapist may use their hands, thumbs, forearms, elbows, knees and feet to apply pressure along the body's energy lines.
