Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion is a mechanical exfoliation treatment that gently buffs away the outermost layer of dead skin cells to reveal fresher, smoother skin beneath. It is usually carried out in two ways: a crystal system that sprays fine particles across the skin while vacuuming them away, or a diamond-tipped wand that abrades the surface. Both are non-invasive and work only on the very top layers, so it is very different from deeper treatments such as microneedling or medical dermabrasion.
