Mesotherapy is an injectable treatment in which a practitioner delivers a tailored blend, sometimes called a cocktail, of ingredients such as vitamins, minerals, amino acids, hyaluronic acid and other actives into the middle layers of the skin using a series of very fine, shallow injections. It is most often used to hydrate, brighten and improve the overall condition of facial skin, and some practitioners offer versions aimed at hair thinning on the scalp.
