Balayage and Hair Colour
Balayage
Who It's For
Ideal for anyone wanting a natural, blended colour result — whether that’s soft balayage, sun-kissed highlights, a root melt, a refresh of existing colour or a full colour correction. Suitability and the best approach for your hair are agreed at consultation.
Expected Results
Beautifully blended, dimensional colour that complements your skin tone and grows out softly, with healthy-looking, well-conditioned hair. Low-maintenance techniques like balayage mean fewer salon visits between appointments.
Pre-care Advice
A patch/allergy test is required at least 48 hours before any colour service if you are new to the salon or your history has changed. Arrive with your hair as normal and bring photos of colours you like, and let Suzanne know about any recent colour, henna or treatments.
After-care Advice
Use colour-safe, sulphate-free shampoo and conditioner and wait 48 hours before the first wash where advised. Protect hair from heat and UV, use recommended toning and bond-care products, and book regular toners/maintenance to keep colour fresh.
Downtime & Recovery
No downtime — you leave the salon styled and ready to go, simply following the aftercare advice to protect your new colour.
Contraindications
Please Read Carefully Before Booking This Treatment.
Colour is not carried out where a patch test is positive or has not been done, or on broken, irritated or infected scalp. Recent henna, metallic dyes or certain treatments may affect results and are discussed at consultation.
Side Effects & Risks
Colour services are low risk when patch tested. Occasionally mild scalp sensitivity can occur; rarely, an allergic reaction, which is why patch testing beforehand is essential.
