About This Course
Our Trans Awareness Course gives hair and beauty professionals the knowledge and confidence to welcome and care for trans and non-binary clients respectfully. Delivered by Sam Marshall, it covers inclusive language, gender-neutral service and pricing, the barriers trans clients can face, and practical steps to make your salon a safe, affirming space for everyone.
Learning Outcome
You will understand key terminology and inclusive language, how to consult and communicate respectfully, how to offer gender-neutral services and pricing, and how to make your business genuinely welcoming to trans and non-binary clients.
Entry Requirements
Open to all hair, beauty and aesthetics professionals, students and salon teams. No prior knowledge is required.

Follow-up Care
You receive a certificate of completion recognising your commitment to inclusive practice. Sam offers ongoing support, and the course complements our HIV Awareness training.
Additional Information
Available in person or for whole salon teams. It supports gender-neutral salons and pricing and reflects Sam’s specialism in inclusion and education.
