Entry Requirements
This course is designed to take your current skills to the next level! It’s an ideal course to prepare you to teach, compete or just improve your nail skills.
Only suitable for trained/qualified nail techs. If you are a beginner please see Nail Technology option.
You will need either a passport or a birth certificate to apply. If you’ve lost your birth certificate, please apply for a replacement as soon as possible so it’s ready in time.

The VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Nail Services is a nationally recognised advanced qualification designed to help professional nail technicians master creative and technical expertise at the highest level. This funded course, available through the Advanced Learner Loan, provides the opportunity to advance your career without financial barriers while gaining skills that set you apart in the nail industry.
Delivered by Michelle Brookes Training Academy in Hatfield, Doncaster, the course takes you beyond basic nail technology and into advanced professional artistry. You’ll learn gel and acrylic enhancements, sculpting techniques, salon and extreme nail shapes, 3D and 4D nail art, gel design, one stroke painting, Aquarelle, and photographic nails. Health and safety standards, competition nail mentoring, and professional salon practice are also built into the programme.
This qualification is ideal for trained nail technicians who want to progress into teaching, competition work, or expand their salon service offering. With expert tuition and creative guidance from Michelle Brookes, you’ll graduate with a nationally recognised VTCT qualification, advanced design ability, and the confidence to excel as a professional nail artist or educator.
