Waxing and Spray Tan
Waxing
Who It's For
Ideal for anyone wanting smooth, hair-free skin or a natural-looking sunless tan — whether for a special occasion, holiday or regular maintenance. Suitable for most clients following consultation and, for tanning, a patch test where required.
Expected Results
Smooth, groomed skin that stays hair-free for weeks, and a natural, streak-free tan that develops to your chosen depth and lasts several days with good aftercare.
Pre-care Advice
For waxing, allow hair to grow to a few millimetres and avoid moisturiser on the day. For spray tan, exfoliate and shave/wax at least 24 hours beforehand, arrive with clean, product-free skin, and wear loose, dark clothing.
After-care Advice
After waxing, avoid heat, swimming, sunbeds and friction for 24 hours and exfoliate gently between appointments to prevent ingrown hairs. After tanning, avoid water, sweating and tight clothing until you rinse as advised, then moisturise daily to prolong the tan.
Downtime & Recovery
No downtime — you can continue your day after waxing (keeping the area cool and clean), and after a spray tan simply follow the development and rinse-off timings advised.
Contraindications
Please Read Carefully Before Booking This Treatment.
Waxing is not suitable on broken, irritated or sunburnt skin, over active infections, or while using certain skin medications (e.g. Roaccutane, retinoids on the area). Spray tan is avoided with allergies to the ingredients or certain skin conditions. All assessed at consultation.
Side Effects & Risks
Temporary redness or sensitivity after waxing that settles quickly, with occasional ingrown hairs managed by exfoliation. Spray tan is very low risk; a patch test is used where a reaction is possible.
