Microneedling

Microneedling

60 mins Monthly

Who It's For

Ideal for clients wanting to improve skin texture, firmness, fine lines, scarring or overall resilience, as part of a corrective skin-health plan. Suitability is confirmed at a full consultation, including for sensitive skin.

Expected Results

Smoother, firmer, healthier-looking skin with gradual improvement in texture, fine lines and scarring as new collagen develops over a recommended course of treatments.

Pre-care Advice

Avoid retinoids, acids and strong actives for around 5–7 days beforehand, and avoid sun exposure. Do not book over active breakouts, cold sores or broken skin. A consultation and, where relevant, patch assessment are carried out first.

After-care Advice

Keep skin clean and hydrated, avoid makeup, active skincare, heat, saunas, swimming and exercise for 24–48 hours, and apply SPF diligently. Follow the barrier-supporting home care Rachel prescribes to optimise healing.

Downtime & Recovery

Short downtime — skin is typically pink or flushed for 24–48 hours, similar to mild sunburn, before settling, with diligent SPF advised.

Contraindications

Please Read Carefully Before Booking This Treatment.

Not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, on active acne, infections, cold sores, eczema or broken skin, or with certain conditions or medications such as Roaccutane. All contraindications are assessed at consultation.

Side Effects & Risks

Temporary redness, warmth, tightness and light flaking are normal in the days after treatment. Minor pinpoint bleeding or bruising can occur; all risks are discussed at consultation.
