Pre-care Advice
Avoid retinoids, AHAs, BHAs and other exfoliating actives for at least 48 to 72 hours before treatment. Arrive with clean skin free of make-up. Avoid sun exposure and self-tan prior to treatment. Inform your practitioner of any medications or skin conditions at consultation.
After-care Advice
Keep the skin clean and avoid touching the treated area. Use only gentle, practitioner-recommended products for at least 48 hours. Avoid direct sun exposure and apply SPF daily. Avoid make-up, exercise and heat (saunas, steam rooms) for 24 to 48 hours post-treatment.
Downtime & Recovery
Minimal to moderate. Some redness and mild sensitivity are common for 24 to 48 hours post-treatment. Peeling or tightness may occur in the days following.
Contraindications

Active acne breakouts over the treatment area, open wounds, eczema or psoriasis in the treatment area, blood-thinning medications, pregnancy or breastfeeding, history of keloid scarring, recent Roaccutane use (typically within 6 months), and active cold sores.
Side Effects & Risks
Temporary redness, sensitivity, mild swelling and skin tightness. Rarely, bruising or temporary breakouts may occur.
