Enzyme Therapy
Enzyme Treatment
Who It's For
Ideal for anyone wanting a gentle, barrier-respecting way to brighten and smooth the skin — including sensitive, reactive or barrier-impaired skin that doesn’t tolerate harsher exfoliation. Suitability is confirmed at consultation.
Expected Results
Brighter, smoother, refreshed and more even-looking skin with improved texture and radiance, achieved gently without compromising the skin barrier. Results build with regular treatments as part of a skin-health plan.
Pre-care Advice
Avoid retinoids, acids and other strong actives for a few days beforehand, and avoid sun exposure. Arrive with clean skin where possible, and let Rachel know of any recent treatments or sensitivities at consultation.
After-care Advice
Keep skin hydrated, apply a broad-spectrum SPF and avoid heat, saunas, swimming, active skincare and sun exposure for 24 hours. Follow the barrier-supporting home care Rachel prescribes.
Downtime & Recovery
Little to no downtime — most clients return to their day straight away with refreshed, comfortable skin.
Contraindications
Please Read Carefully Before Booking This Treatment.
Not suitable on active skin infections, cold sores, open or broken skin, or with a known allergy to any of the ingredients. Certain conditions and medications are assessed at consultation and the treatment adapted where needed.
Side Effects & Risks
Enzyme therapy is gentle and well tolerated. Mild, temporary warmth, tingling or redness can occur and settles quickly, without the downtime associated with stronger peels.
