Chemical Peels

Chemical Exfoliation (Peels)

45 mins Monthly

Who It's For

Anyone wanting to improve pigmentation, fine lines, acne or dull, uneven skin. Suitable for most skin types following a consultation and any recommended skin preparation.

Expected Results

Skin looks brighter and more even, with improvement in texture and pigmentation over a course of peels. Some flaking in the days after is part of the process.

Pre-care Advice

Avoid retinoids, acids, waxing and sun exposure for several days beforehand, and follow any pre-peel preparation recommended. Tell us about medication or recent treatments.

After-care Advice

Do not pick flaking skin. Avoid heat, exercise, make-up and active ingredients for 24 to 48 hours, keep skin hydrated and use SPF daily to protect the new skin.

Downtime & Recovery

Expect some flaking and sensitivity for a few days depending on the peel strength; most people continue as normal with SPF.

Contraindications

Please Read Carefully Before Booking This Treatment.

May not be suitable during pregnancy, over cold sores or infections, with certain medication such as roaccutane, or very sensitive conditions. A consultation confirms suitability.

Side Effects & Risks

Redness, tightness and flaking for a few days are normal. Following aftercare reduces the risk of irritation or pigmentation.
