About Me

SARAH TIPPLE, MSET QTLS ADipVTCT
Member of the British Beauty Council, Member of the British Medical Laser Association

Hello, I'm Sarah Tipple, and I've dedicated over 25 years of my life to the vibrant world of hair, beauty, and aesthetics. My journey in this industry has been a multifaceted one, wearing many hats along the way.
It all began when I was just 14 years old, starting as a wide-eyed salon assistant. Those early days ignited a passion in me that would shape my future. Once I finished school, I dove headfirst into full-time salon work, and by the time I turned 18, I co-founded my own salon alongside my mum, Jeanette. It was a bold step for a young entrepreneur, but I was determined to make my mark.

However, my appetite for learning and growth didn't stop there. I transitioned into education part-time, achieving my assessor and IQA qualifications, and seeking to give back to the industry that had given me so much. In 2010, I pursued and completed my Certificate in Education, earning QTLS status.
Fast forward to 2013, my journey led me to a role with VTCT, where I served as an External Quality Assurer (EQA) until recent months.

With my own academy, Essex Training Solutions Ltd, and working as Head of Division for Specialist Trade Courses Ltd, I develop, plan, and organize educational programs, while also meticulously monitoring quality across technical, educational, and operational aspects. Mentoring teachers and occasionally teaching education and training learners and advanced beauty therapy learners is another facet of my role, and I'm deeply passionate about fostering learning and strengthening businesses through knowledge.

I am still a freelance IQA, and specialise in academy start up packages and support, and I am also now on a path with Qualifi Awarding Organisation as an EQA and am looking forward to being able to support and mentor people through the changes that our industry deserves.
With a rallying cry to empower learners to take control of their own destinies by embracing knowledge and skills, and to be able to get up each day, proud of their achievements and happy to go to work - I firmly believe that education is the key to unlocking one's full potential and positioning themselves for a successful future. To support the educators, we have the recently launched Facebook Hair and Beauty Quality Association – a space for all HBA educators to meet and share ideas, offering ongoing support.
In the ever-evolving landscape of the beauty industry, I continue to thrive and push boundaries, constantly seeking ways to elevate both myself and those I have the privilege to educate and mentor.
Feel free to connect! I look forward to speaking with you!
