Sue Davies is a leading voice in the industry with broad experiences gained over her 22 years served. Award winning salon owner, professional and educator who has gone on become a successful podcaster, writer, founder and co-creator of Nabuno, the salon industry course directory and education platform, and more recently as co-founder of Salon Education Journal, the new trade publication growing professionals and businesses through continued education.

Helen is one of the creators of this event. She is also the CEO and creator of the Hair and Beauty Directory, alongside a multi award winning salon and training centre

. With a vast range of qualifications Helen is educated to level 6 and has almost 3 decades of experience, half of which is in teaching. An international speaker, judge and leading the way for changes in the industry, while empowering people to be the best they can be 

Sarah began her career in the hair and beauty industry at 13 and quickly rose to become Avon Cosmetics' Sales Manager, dramatically improving her sales area from 450th to 41st nationally. Embracing entrepreneurship, she opened her first salon in 2001, expanding to four successful locations. In 2008, Sarah launched a training company in hair and beauty, achieving £600K turnover in 2022, with now in 2024 is a 7 figure business by 2024 & now is expanding the company offers to other aspiring training academy owners by teaching hair & beauty owners to do the same to be able to offer a comprehensive range of programs, including apprenticeships and adult education.

Securing a direct training contract in 2020, Sarah has been instrumental in advising business owners on diversifying revenue in the Hair & Beauty sector. 

Also known as an apprenticeship authority, Sarah's "The Apprenticeship Godmother" podcast since 2022 offers valuable insights into the sector. Her company, TNB Skills Training, won four awards in 2023 for its contributions to social media, community, and business excellence in Kent's hair and wellbeing awards. After almost 30 years in the hair and beauty industry, many of those as an employer, Debbie is now the Regional EcoSystem Manager for NatWest’s Enterprise team covering the East Midlands and East of England – supporting thousands of small businesses owners every year through education, coaching and enterprise health checks.

An entrepreneur herself, Debbie successfully scaled (over 17 years) and exited a chain of Hair and Beauty Salons before starting a career in coaching and social media strategy education. Debbie has a number of industry businesses herself, and is a passionate ambassador for Apprenticeships, Women In Business (including investment) and is a funding and finance specialist.

Qualified as level 3 beauty therapist/electrologist in 1988, level 3 nail technology in 2001 & Level 4/5 aesthetic practise in 2022. Have been self employed therapist since 1989 initially with High Street Salons but have worked from my home salon for almost 25yrs. Now specialising in skin & electrolysis.
