Tragically we lost our son Ollie following a 3 and half hour long seizure Christmas day

For those who don't know, I'm a mummy to 4 beautiful children. Ollie Twins Hayden & Harley & then there's Lola.

Tragically we lost our son Ollie following a 3 and half hour long seizure Christmas day 2013 . He isn't here due to medical negligence. A doctor at our local hospital made the wrong decisions and we lost our beautiful boy.

Ollie was nearly 3 years old. He passed away in my arms 27/12/13. We had to explain to the twins that Ollie wasn't coming back. I didn't want to go on, I didn't want to live, but I was a mummy and a wife and my twins needed their mummy to be strong.

I became scared to go out for the fear that people would talk about Ollie or ask how I was. So it was easier to just stay indoors. Fast forward to 2016, I was pregnant with Lola, the twins were about to start school, I had to leave the house and do the school runs. Even on the days that I wanted to curl up and cry all day long, I still had to take the twins to school. While they were at school the days were so long, without them distracting me or keeping me busy. I needed a focus.

I took one course, then many, many more.. My husband built me a lash studio at home so I didn't have to go out. I got so into the lashes & Lash lifting that stopped my nail treatments and focused on the lashes. I grew & I was enjoying what I did, I had a purpose. My business is called Angel Inspired Lashes For my angel Ollie, as he inspired me to go on, even when I didn't want to.

Fast forward again to today.

Now i'm a 42x Award winning Lash Artist in different categories such as Lash lifting, Volume, Coloured lashes & also Fantasy. Most of my awards are for my lash lifting.

I'm a trainer & have written my own courses. I absolutely love teaching & many of my own students have now become award winners. I am absolutely honoured to have judged in 43 Global competitions to date, both live & online. I was a speaker at Opal lash conference. Also at a Lash and Brow conference in Finland. I have travelled to Estonia to teach & Judge. I have a huge passion for lash lifting and strive for the perfect, clean lift.

I've had my lash work featured in many Lash Inc magazines, Lash Ed, & Lash Global magazines. I've also written many magazine articles on lash lifting and competitions too. What drives me? It's my passion to succeed, I want my children to be proud of me & if Ollie is looking down I want him to be proud of me for never giving up
