Pre-care Advice
- Let hair grow to at least 5mm (about two to three weeks of growth).
- Exfoliate gently a day or two before; avoid moisturiser or oil on the day.
- Avoid sunbathing beforehand and let Charlotte know about any skin sensitivities or medication.
After-care Advice
- Avoid heat (hot baths, saunas, steam), swimming, sunbeds and intense exercise for 24–48 hours.
- Wear loose, breathable clothing.
- Exfoliate gently after a few days to help prevent ingrown hairs.
Downtime & Recovery
Minimal downtime — temporary redness and sensitivity are normal and usually settle within a few hours.

Not suitable over broken, irritated or sunburnt skin, or where you use strong actives like retinoids on the area. Let Charlotte know about medication such as isotretinoin (Roaccutane), which affects waxing, and any skin conditions.
Side Effects & Risks
Short-lived redness, tenderness or small bumps are common and settle quickly. Ingrown hairs are minimised with good aftercare. Rarely, sensitive skin may react — a patch test can be arranged.
