Emma Jarvis

Emma has a wide range of skills in the hairdressing industry. She lectured for 2 years at a college, has trained over 80 students in their NVQ level 2 and 3 as well as running masterclasses in colour, styling and business both in person and online.

Emma’s salon is multi award winning, she has been a finalist for Great Lengths Hair Extension Awards and recently won Best Salon Awards 2022, Best Salon Refit, Best Customer Experience, Best Colour salon and also Emma was a finalist in The Outstanding Contribution award. In 2008 Emma also won The Sprit of Enterprise Award for Continual Development as well as being a finalist in many others.

Emma’s salon, The Hair Base has achieved 5 stars for customer service with Phorest Software for 5 consecutive years and was Awarded 2nd in the UK during 2022 for Vish Waste Warriors, a competition for the best salon in the UK for minimal waste and being a sustainable salon.

Emma holds 2 colours masters with Schwarzkopf and Redken, she is a Business Mentor to the industry and regularly holds live training online, sharing knowledge and support to the hairdressing industry.
Emma attends all industry events to network & support and she’s travelled across the UK and internationally with the industry.
Emma was featured on the future stars stage with Loreal at Salon international where she showcased her skills to a huge audience.
Emma’s fun facts: She once auditioned to be on The Apprentice and jumped out of a plane raising £12k for charity.

Emma’s passion lies with education. She loves to develop others, helping to give them confidence, knowledge and skills so that they can achieve their personal goals.
