The Light Centre

Wonderful centre, great atmosphere, spacious class room, all clean, comfortable changing rooms. I had a yoga class with Valentina which was one of my best yoga classes, thank you! It was an ideal combination of slow and ambient though strong practice, feel connected with my body after a several months without the practice 🧘‍♀️

This centre is modern, welcoming and always improving. The rooms are clean, warm and relaxing – an ideal space for my work with Jin Shin Jyutsu (acupuncture without needles). The team is supportive and professional, which makes it a real pleasure to practise here.

I had a very disappointing experience at the Light Centre Marylebone as an aesthetics practitioner hiring one of their rooms on a day rate. After finally managing to secure a booking online, my client session went smoothly – until the very end. As I was saying goodbye to my client and preparing to leave, a member of staff suddenly banged on the door. When I opened it, she rudely demanded that I leave immediately as they “needed the room back.”

I had not even exceeded my booked time slot by a full minute, and her tone and behaviour in front of my client were extremely unprofessional and completely unnecessary. It was clear we were already on our way out, yet I was spoken to in a way that was both disrespectful and inappropriate for a professional setting.

I will not be booking this service again and strongly advise other practitioners to think twice before bringing their clients here. First impressions and professional standards matter, and unfortunately, this experience fell far short of expectations.

My aesthetician kindly rents a room here for me quite regularly as I found it was an easier location to get to. I understand this is on a pay-as-you-go basis. I’ve been to many therapy spaces that work this way, but I have never been treated so badly.

There was absolutely no grace period and the way we were rushed out was humiliating. An extremely rude staff member practically escorted me and my injector out like criminals — even though I was already halfway out the door. It honestly felt as if she was standing there with a timer waiting for the second the clock struck.

The whole situation left me feeling embarrassed, uncomfortable, and shocked. Truthfully I’m so disappointed and I’ve told my practitioner I will not attend any future appointments at this location. Appalling service and shockingly poor treatment of clients. Basic respect and common courtesy doesn’t cost a thing.
